- "We have had a wonderful family holiday at Casa Amarilla. Booking out the whole villa with 2 families was very comfortable with more than enough space and facilities. The villa was a good base to explore the local villages and beaches. Gill and Chris were exceptional caretakers and we can't compliment them enough for all their help and advice. The Macklin family."

- "I stayed at Casa Amarilla's pool apartment with my family in June. The villa is lovely set back from the coast in the mountains. We enjoyed lazing around the pool and soaking up the sunshine. You need a car to get there but there is a bar in the local village open couple of days a week which you can walk to, and the owners also stock a selection of drinks and snacks at the villa that you can pay for as you use. The villa is a short drive to Xativa, a lovely town to wander around, grab a coffee or lunch and visit its castle on the hill. A bit further and you can visit the beach, a great way to cool down if its hot. You shouldn't miss out on the opportunity to take a day trip to Valencia either. Its easy just drive to the local train station and its cheap to get the train into town. Valencia has it all: Great architecture, shops, bars, cafes and the beach. A great villa to relax in and get away from it all, whilst still being close to everything that the area has to offer!"

- "My partner and I were looking for somewhere to just relax and get some Spring sunshine. We came across the Casa Amarilla website and booked a week in April 2011. What a fantastic place! The photos just don't do the villa or the surrounding area justice. We stayed in the Pool Apartment, which was spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished. The owners seem to have an eye for detail. We were impressed by the matching bedding/towels and toiletries provided. As evenings/mornings can be a little chilly at this time of year, they even left us 2 fluffy dressing gowns! A wonderful place to stay and we are aiming to go back in September. We also found that the area suited both of us as I was able to play golf at the two reasonsably close courses whist my partner was able to visit Valencia and Xativa with some freinds we made locally."

- "We stayed in June for a week as a romantic holiday for 2 in the lower apartment and had a lovely time soaking up the sun, visiting Xativa and enjoying the local food and wine.
I would recommend it for anyone looking for a romantic break with all home comforts and close enough to towns and beach so plenty to do."

- "I stayed in the Pool Apartment with my family, its a wonderful spacious apartment in lovely grounds, we loved the outside space at the villa, swimming pool and a variety of terraces on which to sit and relax. The property is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. However you do need a car to get about and see places. To get to nearest beach takes about 20 mins by car. We took a short drive from the villa to LEnova where we parked our car and went by train into Valencia for the day, I was surprised at how the low fares were. We had a wonderful day especially The City of Arts and Sciences - amazing buildings. Its a peaceful place where you can unwind away from the stress of modern day living and I am looking forward to a return visit to do some walking."

- "Many thanks for a fabulous stay at Casa Amarilla. We have really enjoyed your lovely villa and garden, amazing hospitality and attention to detail. This is such a spectacular and unspoilt area of Spain - we have loved exploring, visiting Xativa, Bocairent, Vallada, Simat and the beach. The weather has been stunning and we have all - Troy particularly - enjoyed the pool. Again, thank you for looking after us so well (the meals were delicious). We would have no hesitation in returning."

- "We've had a fabulous time at Casa Amarilla. The location is wonderful and the villa is a real home from home. We've enjoyed the pool and you have both made us all feel so welcome. We enjoyed the pub quiz, although we're not sure Graham liked being beaten by the guests! Thank you for looking after us so well. We'll be recommending Casa Amarilla to our friends and hopefully we'll see you again"

- "Just cant thank you enough for a genuinely perfect holiday. Beautiful villa, everything we needed was there and you were both always on hand if we needed help. A little paradise run by two lovely people. Definitely the easiest and most relaxing holiday weve ever had. Lots to do in the area too! We will recommend it to all our friends and family, though, like the best chocolate in a box being passed round, theres a part of us that hopes no-one will notice it until its our turn again."
Catherine and Philip (Ireland) - July 2009
